That's my current plans for October, but a lot of stuff changes with what I play. Killzone 2 will have to wait among many other games I want to get through. I'm also continuing my Sniper Elite binge as well and will be going through the full release of Prodeus hopefully on Game Pass since I felt like playing it on there. As I'm getting ready for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022) next month, I'm attempting to complete Modern Warfare (2019) which I'm having a really good time with. Soldier of Fortune was another game I ended up finishing and despite the excellent gore system, overpowered weapons and fantastic gunplay, it has not aged gracefully and is repetitive, features a weak story, has audio glitches, jittery controls while on moving objects and obtuse level design that's frustrating. Well worth your time and I feel this might be the version of Half-Life I play from here on out since it feels surprisingly more polished than the original release. I felt compared to other remasters and remakes which attempt to make Half-Life "Better" or "More Improved" and fail miserably, I really enjoyed Restored! It didn't destroy the developer's intent or game integrity and just enhanced a bunch of things like the graphics while also adding a couple of new things back into the game. Half-Life: Restored (PC, 09/06, 9/10) Soldier of Fortune (PC, 09/24, 6/10) Half-Life: Restored is by far the best thing I played all month. Two games this month! One mod and one new game.
